It looks like the countdown to the next Guns N' Roses album has begun. Guitarist Richard Fortus tells Australia's Noise11.com that the follow-up to 2008's Chinese Democracy is mostly complete and on track to possibly arrive in stores sometime in 2014.
But Fortus isn't offering too many details, explaining only that the band has been spending a lot of time working on the new record and many of the songs are ready to go.
Some fans, however, may be leery to mark their calendars just yet considering the extended gestation period for Chinese Democracy. That album was released 15 years after its predecessor, 1993's The Spaghetti Incident.
