Was this the most inept drug smuggler ever?

1200 WOAI news reports Customs and Border Protection officers were checking cars coming into Eagle Pass from Piedras Negras Mexico on the Camino Real International Bridge.

A motorist who had already crossed the bridge opened his wallet to show agents his driver's license---when one third of a gram of cocaine fell out of his wallet!

Agents then found 106 pounds of marijuana being smuggled into the U.S. and hidden in secret compartments in the man's 1993 Chevy Silverado pickup truck.

The dope was valued at $106,000.

The drugs were confiscated, and the man was turned over to Homeland Security Investigations for federal prosecution.
