A started federal judge here declined a couple's request that he marry them, right before the judge sentenced the woman to three years in prison for selling young girls for sex, 1200 WOAI news reports.

  Ashley Gonzales, 19, pleased guilty to misprison of a felony.

  The FBI says Gonzales and her boyfriend, who has yet to be sentenced,  would run ads on the Internet advertising young girls for 'dates.'

  The FBI arrested the couple last year.

  U.S. District Judge Xavier Rodriguez, who politely declined a request by Ashley's family that he first conduct a wedding ceremony, sentenced the teen to prison.

  The boyfriend, who pleaded guilty to sex trafficking of children, will be sentenced later.  He faces up to ten years in prison.
