Several hundred people staged a loud protest in front of the San Antonio Internal Revenue Service building on the northeast side today, and promised more demonstrations to come to show public anger against arrogant federal bureaucrats, 1200 WOAI news reports.

"Push back against what the federal government is doing against good people like us," said Salvatore Apicelli, a member of the San Antonio Tea Party.  "By targeting us, a lot of Tea Parties went bankrupt because of this, it is not the IRS's place to come down here and try to stifle what we as American citizens are trying to say.  All we want is for our governor to listen, to hear us."

Apicelli protested what is called 'top down tyranny' by the IRS and Environmental Protection Agency, where bureaucrats simply order citizens to follow their orders.

"These people understand what it is to be an American," he said.  "A lot of people in Washington now don't understand that."
