San Marcos Police today released composite sketches of three men suspected in the brutal rape of a woman in the city earlier this month, 1200 WOAI news reports.

Police say the woman was driving with her young child on McKie Street near the access road of southbound I-35 when her car was bumped from the rear by another vehicle.

When the women got out of her car to check on the damage, she was attacked by the three men.

They forced her into the back seat of her car, covered her head, and one of them drove away in her car with the victim and her child in the back seat.  The other two men followed in their pickup truck.

The victim was taken to a remote location where she was sexually assaulted.  The men then attempted to strangle the woman.  She passed out but survived.  The child was not hurt.
