Police have now stacked charges on top of charges against a 31 year old woman who had the bright idea to try to speed away from police, 1200 WOAI news reports.

It all started when Roxanne Campa was pulled over by police near Hackberry and Fair on the city's southeast side.

She started out dumb and then got dumber and dumber.  Officers say she gave the policeman who pulled her over a fake name.

When the patrolman was walking back to her car, Campa allegedly floored it and sped away.  But she quickly lost control of her car, jumped a curb, and ran over and killed a 49 year old man.

Police have charged Campa with murder, evading arrest, and say she had outstanding warrants on drug charges.

And yes, the car she was driving was in fact stolen.
