Winter Storm Boreas May Disrupt Carefully Laid Travel Plans =======================================

And there's hardly a darn thing you can do about it.

As winter storm Boreas moves east ... people traveling for Thanksgiving may find themselves stranded in airports. Steve Loucks is with Corporate Travel Leaders.

"The best thing to do is to be prepared for it. You should be working with your travel agent to see what your alternatives are."

Or call the airline to see about a new route. But that doesn't mean they can assure you that you won't get stranded.

Like in the movie "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" Steve Martin's character faced a lot of what travelers may face now being stranded at the airport with no way out.

"And so one of the best things that you should do is have a strategy in place BEFORE you head out of the door for the airport. The last thing that you want to do is be stranded."

"If you are flying through airports right in the line of bad weather, you can expect to be at least be delayed or many of those flights will be canceled," he says.
