Three would-be motorcycle thieves are under arrest after police say they went hog wild in a northwest side cycle shop this morning, 1200 WOAI news reports.

Police say officers spotted four men loading motorcycles into a van outside the Alamo Cycle Shop near I-10 and Dezavala on the city's northwest side.

The men had apparently broken into the shop through the front door, and were grabbing everything in sight.

When police swooped in, the man slammed the door of the van, floored it, and attempted to make a getaway.

In the chaos, the men were boxed in by police cars.  At one point, the suspects rammed one of the patrol cars.

The four then jumped out of the van and tried to make a run for it.

Three were arrested.  The fourth man got away.

They are expected to face charges of burglary, evading arrest, and assault on a police officer.
