Two men are in critical condition after they were shot following an argument in the parking lot of a prominent northwest side nightclub early Saturday, detectives tell 1200 WOAI news.

  Police were called to the club in the 4500 block of NW Loop 1604, near 1604 and Lockhill-Selma, about closing time this morning.

  When they arrived, they found two men in critical condition in the parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds.

   They were rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

  Detectives found one man in possession of what they say was the weapon used in the attack, a .40 revolver.

  He was taken into custody.

   The second shooter proved harder to apprehend.

   Police say he was captured after leading officers on a chase in his Cadillac, reaching speeds of up to 100 miles an hour.

  He was apprehended near 1604 and Blanco.

  No word on what prompted the altercation.
