A 41 year old man who was trafficking children as young as 13 while he was under house arrest for a previous conviction has been found guilty of compelling prostitution, 1200 WOAI news reports.
Prosecutors say Frank Lara would place ads on the Internet offering underage girls for sex, and then would complete the transaction on a phone in his mother's home, where he was under house arrest and on an ankle monitor as part of his parole on a previous conviction.
Lara would pocket the cash from the transactions, prosecutors say, which was generated by the repeated sexual assault of the girls.
No house arrest this time.
Prosecutors say Lara faces 24 years to life in prison on each count when the punishment phase of his trial begins on Monday.
