Got 'em!

San Antonio Police today arrested the two men they say robbed an armored car in the parking lot of North Star Mall Monday afternoon.

Police say the FBI, Police Robbery Task Force Unit, and the Bexar County Sheriff developed two possible suspects based  on evidence collected at the scene.  Enough probably cause was developed to get arrest warrants in the two suspects.

One of the men and a vehicle seen speeding away from the Mall was found in the 7000 block of Falling Ridge, which is located near Converse near Gibbs Sprawl Road.

The FBI set up surveillance, and discovered that both suspects met up with each other at the home.

Last night, the two men were arrested when their vehicle was stopped in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart at Walzem and Montgomery Roads.

Glenn McGarity, 31, and Jacques Durham, 34, were arrested without incident, and evidence found in the car, police say, links the two men to the crime.

Monday afternoon, two men sprayed pepper spray into the face of an armored car driver in front of the Macy's at North Star Mall, and ran off with two money bags.

One of the bags was later found on Ahern Street, off of Rector Road.

Both of the men will be charged with robbery, bodily injury.
