A wrong way driver was killed this morning in a head on collision on Interstate 35 near San Antonio Military Medical Center, 1200 WOAI's Michael Main reports.

Police say Randy Fusilier, 31, got onto the highway at I-37 and Houston Street just east of downtown, and drove north in the wrong lane for nearly 10 miles, before he collided head on with another car.

  It happened around 2AM today.

The wrong way driver, who police suspect was drunk, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 22 year old man who was driving the right way and collided with the wrong way driver had to be cut out of the wreckage of his vehicle and is in critical condition at the hospital.

It is the second major accident in three days to be caused by a wrong way driver.  Early Sunday, a man driving the wrong way on inbound I-10 near Huebner slammed into several oncoming cars.  He was seriously hurt.
