Lisa Marie Presley Breaks Silence On Son Benjamin Keough's Tragic Death

Lisa Marie Presley paid tribute to her late son, Benjamin Keough, on what would have been his 28th birthday.

Months after losing her son this summer, Presley broke her silence on Wednesday (October 21) to celebrate his life in a heartbreaking message. "My beautiful beautiful angel, I worshipped the ground you walked on, on this earth and now in Heaven," Presley captioned an Instagram post with a rare image of Benjamin from a past birthday party. "My heart and soul went with you. The depth of the pain is suffocating and bottomless without you every moment of every day. I will never be the same.”

“Please wait for me my love, and hold my hand while I stay to continue to protect and raise your little sisters and to be here for Riley. I know you would want that,” she continued. “Happy Birthday my sweet sweet Boy. You were much too good for this world. 😞💔"

This is the first statement Presley has shared about her late son since Benjamin died by suicide in Calabasas, California, in July. As previously reported by multiple outlets, Benjamin, who was 27 at the time of his death, was determined to have died by a shotgun wound.

Sister Riley Keough also honored her brother's birthday on her own Instagram. “Happy Birthday beautiful angel,” Riley wrote along with a slideshow of pictures showing the brother-sister duo together as children and adults.
